Jet Roster doesn't seem to be working

I've implemented the Jet Roster code for determining how many users are
logged into the backend file.

There are many code examples and I've copied them. Also, I've checked at
least 20 times that the two computers are connected to the same backend file.
But when I run the Jet Roster code on each computer it only picks up the
computer on which it is running.

I've made sure that I have forms open on both computers that have actively
retrieved data.

I'm at a total loss. Any ideas, no matter how off the wall.

Thanks.

Did you use this code?

Hi Piet,

My database is not on a network, but I used this code as I thought that
would come in helpful in the future. It returned three lines of data,
me as each of the users.

Why was this?

Yes.
Are you testing the front end or the back end?

The backend. In keeping with best practices I intend to deploy the front end
to each user's local PC and the backend will be on the server.

The backend. In keeping with best practices I intend to deploy
the front end to each user's local PC and the backend will be on
the server.
Then that means you altered the code from the MS website. Perhaps
you made a mistake in that process?
