How can i copy every outlook contact field to access database using VBA

Hi all

Im copying details from an Outlook contact address book into an Access
database. Originally I was only copying about 10 fields across, using
the the following method, with a line of code for each piece of data
being copied

TempContactRST.AddNew
TempContactRST!FirstName = c.FirstName
TempContactRST!LastName = c.LastName
.........

I've decided that in the future, more info stored in outlook might be
needed to be copied to the access database, so I want to be able to
copy EVERY field across. Is there a quick and efficient way of doing
this, or am I going to have to use the method I'm already using, but
with a line of code for every piece of data that the outlook address
book can hold?

Hope I've made myself clear
Thanks

Charlie

if you want to just use the data from the Contacts table in Outlook,
just link to it. File, Get External Data, Link, switch type to
Outlook, select Contacts. then you can query it as if it were a native
table.

Thanks for your reply

The idea of the module in the database is to transfer contact
information bothways between outlook and access, depending on which is
needed. Eventually the database will be put on quite a few computers,
and one of the aims is to do this with as minimum overhead as possible;
preferebly not having to do what you've suggested on each computer that
will run a copy of the database. If I link the database to outlook and
save it, when I run the database on another pc, will it remember these
settings and link automatically to the copy of outlook on that pc?

Cheers
