duplicate index problem

P: n/a
I have a query based on Table-A which populates most of the pages of a
tab control. On two of the pages, however, I would like to have fields
from Table-B. There's too many fields in this second table to fit onto
one subform, so I created two subforms based on Table-B:
Table-B-subform-1 and Table-B-subform-2 -- each on a separate page of
the tab control. Both are linked to the main form via a unique client

The problem is that after entering data into Table-B-subform-1, I
cannot enter data into the fields on the second page for Table-B
(Table-B-subform-2). I tried putting code in the OnExit event for
Table-B-subform-1 to save the record first, but I still get the error
associated with trying to enter a duplicate primary index.

I could just add a command button to open up a separate form for
Table-B fields, but I was wondering if there's a way to keep everything
on this tab control.

Thanks for any help,
