How Do I Create a MDE from a simple database

P: n/a

I have a database and I want to make it into an executable but the make
MDE file menu option is greyed out. What do I have to do to create a
mde?

Thanks,
Jake

MDE is _NOT_ an executable; it "tokenizes" the VBA and locks design mode for
modules, and for forms and reports with modules. Access cannot be converted
into an executable; it can be distributed with the extra-cost runtime
support available in the Developer Editions of Office prior to 2003, and in
the Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003 System.
