Access slowdown...

I have Access 2003 and have been developing a database with lots of
queries and reports. I have oodles of space on my HD and 640 MB ram.,
VM paging set at 256 The database isn't huge, about 1,200 records.

All of a sudden it has gotten sloggy as all get out. I note that the
file info tells me that it is Access 2000, but I created in 2003! I
use Win XP Pro 2002 on a Dell Latitude (portable) is is sometimes
networked. I keep all my software updated.

What can I try to get it back to it's old zippy self?

Hi

I had a similar problem, and was the result of DB Bloating.
Try: Database Utilities --Compact And Repair.
