Report Formatting

I'm having trouble setting up a report.

Basically, I want to have a line that is an italicized PUBLICATION, a
comma and space, then a DATE. So, it would look like:

Italics(New York Times), 11/22/2006.

My problem is that if I try and do it with one text box, I can't
italicize just part of it.

And if I use two text boxes, then I need to grow or shrink the
publication horizontally based on its length, so when I export to Word
it always looks the same... that is PUBLICATION, a comma, one space,
DATE, period.

Any help?

Thanks,
Andrew

It would be good for the future if you put the link.

The other day I came across an old post that solved one of my problems
by posting a link to the solution.

Though I realized I need to implement a new solution, as snapshot RTF
documents are unacceptable for my purposes. I am going to look at
Lebans' RTF writer solutions to see if they do what I need.

Anyone know how to write RTF on the fly from a recordset?

I do that for a handful of my reports. It's not trivial, but the results are
great.

I started by making a simple RTF file with a program that is not too verbose
with the RTF tags (you don't want to use Word for this). There is a rather
large RTF header requirement to make a simple file and then once that is setup
you just keep expanding on it a little at a time adding the various levels your
document requires.
