Can anyone help me on a data table problem?

12
In my project... which deadline is July 3 ....
I need to design a very simple database....
which can enter some subject or subheading in a document to a data table in MS access.
I use VB to implement this,
tsubject <-- is the text box name

the code show as follow:

"INSERT INTO data (subject) values ("""+trim(Me.tsubject)+""");"
I think use simple sql language can do this.
How however if my subject contain some symbol such as ' , " , and ) and (
Then error occur.......
Is there any method I can enter the subject to the table with some symbols??

Vb does this much easier

Dim mystring as String

mystring = "these are some words " & "+ " & "? " & "these are some other words"
tsubject = TRIM(mystring)

the result is "these are some words + ? these are some other words"
