Open mdb in non-exclusive mode

Hi,
I need to link a mdb file and make sure it opens
in a non-exclusive mode.
I looked for a similar post but none was answered.

I know there is a specific param to add
to the command line to get the mdb to open
in exclusive mode (/excl).
I'm looking for the exact opposite.

Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance.

Laura

Access defaults to opening in shared mode. IOW, no command line switch
is required to open the DB in non-exclusive mode.
