Office2007 and emailing

SendObject does not permit adding external file attachments...a glaring
ommision as near as I can tell.

I was wondering if it now allows other files like Word/Excel files to be
added/attached? Or is there another updated method within the app that
makes Email a simpler task?

Since e-mail is a common method of communication nowadays, I would hope
that there has been an update to it.

MS introduced CDO in Windows 2000 and recommends (maybe recommended)
it. It's smaller, cleaner, faster, more compliant to what the developer
may want to do, etc than SendObject and Outlook. I recommend searching
this newsgroup and MSDN for CDO or CDOSys (not CDONTS). Will MS
continue with CDO in VISTA? Who knows?
