new problem with option group

I have some that are like this
0 1 2 3 4 5
0 1 2 3 4 5
0 1 2 3 4 5
0 1 2 3 4 5
0 1 2 3 4 5

and 0-5 all start with &

but when you are on first group and hit 0 you select
the 0 in the second group

0 1 2 3 4 5 hit 0 when it has focus
0 1 2 3 4 5 you select this 0 <<===
0 1 2 3 4 5
0 1 2 3 4 5
0 1 2 3 4 5

any way to keep the focus on the group you are in when
you make the keyboard input?

Use the left- and right-arrow keys when the focus is on the group you
want to select from. Then use the space bar to select the item in the
group. I.e., move the focus to the item and then hit the space bar to
select that item.

When the focus is already on a control w/ the "&" (underscore) in the
control's label, hitting the same value (0 in this case) will always
move to the NEXT control that has the same "&" value.

But they want to enter from keypad only.
So I have no option but to have the toggle buttons with 0 thru 5.
and like you said if you are on 0 it altu goes to next selection.
THIS makes no since to me at all.
If you have the focus on a group and hit a key it sets focus to next
group and also enteres the value you were trying to set in the
previous group

I am trying the keydown on form and it seems to be working better.
