Sharing data between two linked forms

Hi,

I have two linked forms. The first form is called Exposure and the
second form is called Counts. On the first form (Exposure) there is a
text box that asks the user to input an ExposureID code. The exposure
ID acts as the primary key in the exposure table. It acts as the
foreign key in the Counts table. On the counts form there is also a
text box for the user to enter (re-enter) the Exposure ID. Is there a
way to transfer this ExposureID between the linked forms, so that it
appears in the counts form without it having to be re-entered by the
user (i.e. it is simply copied to the counts form from the exposure
form)? And also is there a way to restrict the user from manipulating
the value in the ExposureID text box in the counts form once it has
been entered in the Exposure form (as a means of protecting the
integrity of the data, so that it is not wrongfully re-entered)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you figured this one out or are you still looking for
comments/suggestions?
