Schedule Query to run that uses ODBC link

P: n/a
I have a database that I would like to schedule to open and run a
macro, which is easy enough;

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
Msaccess.exe Nav_Stock_Values.mdb /x RunInventoryReport

This database has tables that are links using ODBC, so when you open
the query it asks for the "SQL Server Login", which is different to the
User Login for the PC.

I therefore cant schedule the open as it asks for this password. This
is not the username and password for the DB either, so /User /Pwd
doesnt work.

Any ideas how to fix these would be greatly appreciated !!!

What about saving the password in the (presumeably) linked tables or in
the conncet string used if you're using PTQs?

PTQ = pass through query. What it means is you're accessing the MS
SQL/ORacel/Whatever database in question without going through Access.

Back to your issue, when you set up your mdb, do you link tables to an
ODBC DSN? Or have these links already been done for you?
