start function in access

Hello together,

does Access have an initial startup function which is executed once
when you open the database?

I need to initiliaze some global variables which are needed in the hole
vba-code

Thank you.

What a lot of people do is to have a form in the startup options that opens
hidden and have that execute the code.

Create a macro named Autoexec

Global variables = suicide!
