Access help

P: n/a
Hello there,
I have recently started work on a new database system for the company i
work for. It is a small business which desperately needs a good system
to streamline its admin and marketing activities.

Can someone please direct me to a preferably free online resource or
website which can aid me whilst i start to design this database.

Cheers
Mehul.

This newsgroup is a very good place to start asking questions.

Get handy with Google et al. A well phrased search finds help for MS
Access all over the net. In fact, I still go that way to find stuff in MSDN
etc beore trying to get info out of MS sites.

What resource I would suggest would depend on what experience you have and
where you are in the learning process. If memory serves, there are some book
recommendations at the FAQ site for this newsgroup,
http://www.mvps.org/access and at MVP Jeff Conrad's site
http://home.bendbroadband.com/conradsystems/index.html and at MVP Tony
Toews' site http://www.granite.ab.ca/accsmstr.

There are others but those three sites are all full of useful Access links
and information, though they are not tutorials.

For some beginning tutorials, try http://www.microsoft.com/office and look
for the Training links. Those are elementary, and don't reach the level of
using VBA code, but are a good (free) start on a lot of Access topics.
