Duane Hookom's Outlook Style Report for MS Access

For anyone familiar with Duane's report

This report is perfect for a project I am working on. I am a novice to
creating reports in Access and would never have dreamt of the elegant
solution Duane created. On the main form Duane states, "The code and
report dimensions assume that all schedule entries are between 8:00 AM
and 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday. These limits could be adjusted by changes
in the code and design." This is the reason for my post. Namely, I
wish to have the user choose the start and end times as well as the
time period between ticks (1/2 hour, 1 hour, 2 hours). What is the
best approach to accomplish this? I have read that you can create an
Access report on the fly. But I am unsure of the performance penalties
incurred in doing so. Should I design the report to accommodate any
options the user may choose (the lowest-common case, as it were)?
