report creation problem

Can anyone help on this?

We are running Access 2002 on a Windsow XP platform, where all machines
are on a network but the software is loaded on each machine.

When I try to create a report I get the following mesage - the wizard
is unable to create your report.

When I try to open an existing- there is a problem getting printer
information for this object.

Printer work fine outside of this. Any suggestions.

What happens when you bring the curser close to the printer icon?

Newbie:

Some print drivers don't play nice with Access, especially 'virtual'
printers that print to another program rather than a physical printer.
Try changing the default printer to an actual printer before opening up
Access.

I am not using virtual printers. There is a printer configured, the
printer is a network printer. There is no local printer.
