Please someone explain to me why

I´m developing a database in access about invoices that could use to
different kinds of money (US Dollar and Pesos).

I have a form where you can insert the invoices and de items of de
invoice. I can insert all everything right

Also I made a detailInvoice query that show every invoice item with the
invoice information (invoiceNumber, client, kindOfMoney, idItem,
product, qty, unitaryPrice, totalUSD and totalP, totalItem) where total
is iif(kindOfMoney=USD, totalUSD, totalP) all ordered by idItem

Using this query I made an inform using the assistant and grouping by
invoiceNumber to get a printable version of the invoice, and the
subtotal (sum(totalItem))

The first error is I have is that the items aren't ordered by idItem.

And the other error I have that sometimes I have an #Error in the
subtotal field

I hope someone can help me

Thanx in advance

If you are displaying this in a Report, then sorting the query does
little to nothing. With the Report open in desing mode, click on
Edit/Sorting&Grouping. Define your sorts and groups there.

As far as the #Error message...I wouldn't know why you get it sometimes
and other times not. Obviously something is missing when it doesn't work.

Thanx, i could order the items of the report

And figured out why the #Error message, it was because i had to change
the grouping summary to the page foot. I solve this using another text
field =[sum of total] but i don´t know if it is the best way to solve
this problem

Don't know what sumoftotal is. Maybe check out RunningSums in help.
Get to a field, open up the property sheet, and under the DataTab is
RunningSum. Press F1 and read about it.
