Recovering A Table

Someone here at work was out and her backup, apparently, erased a very
important table. While the Help Desk is trying to locate a backup
tape, I was wondering if there is a way to get the table back without
having to find the backup of the database (if a backup tape can be
found).
Thanks,
Sheldon Potolsky

If it were the entire database that had been deleted, I'd mention that there
are many "undelete" programs around.

I hope your first step was to make a copy of the database in question on
which to do any experimentation.

You might, in the meanwhile, send a copy of that copy, with details, to
http://www.pksolutions.com to get a free evaluation and price for retrieving
it. That is Peter Miller and he has an outstanding reputation for dealing
with Access internals and recovering data.

Also, because it is just copying a file of an Access database that is
currently in use, the Help Desk's or IT department's backup tape may not
contain a restorable copy of the database. It would be a Really Good Idea to
go to groups.google and search for posts on separate backup schemes for
Access.
