Summarizing Multiple Lines in a report

I have created a report, where there is multiple items with different
values in a group that i total up at the end:
App 3
App 3
App 2
Com 1
Com 2

Total = 11

The approve is groupped by a header. I would like the report to total
all the like values on one line and produce a final total:

App 8
Com 3

Total = 11

Thanks!

It's not clear to me what you have, nor how it is grouped, and those items
of information are necessary to give you a useful answer. Tell us the Field
names of the items in the Table or Query that is Record Source of the
Report, or the Control Names, and identify which are Field/Control Names and
which are values. I presume that the Field used for Grouping is not one of
these... if so, you could total the values in the Group Footer.
