Adding data from an asp page to multiple tables within a database

P: n/a
HI all,

I have a problem at the moment where i need to be able to create, edit
and delete records in multiple tables in a single access database, not
sure if it would be better to use SQL or not, strictly in the
development phase at the moment.

My query is this how difficult is it to do the above within an asp
page? if someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks & regards

Graham Dreyer

1. Yes, use SQL.
2. If you're going through ASP, you're talking to the database engine,
not Access, per se. So you could do it all through ADO with a stored
procedure.

is it hard? There are zillions of books on that kind of thing. You'd
probably get better answers (certainly than this one!) by checking out
an asp-specific NG. Or try www.asp101.com or other website that
focuses specifically on ASP.
