Examples of great interface design in Access2003?

Hi All,

I'm curious to know if anyone in the group can recommend any free
Access2003 applications that are available for download and which
feature great interface (ie GUI) design?

I'm looking for inspiration for a major project I'm about to begin. I'm
not too bad at GUI design, but I'm not necessarily all that innovative,
and it would be helpful to see how other developers have approached GUI
issues.

I've already downloaded and checked out the 'template' applications
from the Microsoft Office site - and while they're good examples of
reasonably clear and clean GUI design, none of them are very complex
applications in and of themselves.

Also, does anyone know if the icon set that is used in the forms in the
Microsoft Office template applications is freely available for download
from somewhere? I've searched through Microsoft's clip art online site
without finding them, so I'm assuming they're not, but I thought it
might be worth asking. As an alternative, does anyone know of a source
for good quality / free larger icons, suitable for use in title
headlines of forms?

Many thanks in advance!

Much warmth,

I'm not aware of a free Access app with a great interface. However, you
might want to look at http://www.members.shaw.ca/AlbertKallal/. He has
some examples of nice looking screens. Maybe they'll give you the
inspiration you need.

These aren't free databases, but you can download these and use them for a
while without charge. I am sure you will find the interfaces inspiring. No
source code though sorry.

Great UI is simple UI. Just create a new empty db. The UI ain't going
to get any better than that.
A DB should be known for its efficiency and effectiveness.Great UI is
for the Sony Play Station.

Thanks to all for your suggestions! I'm hoping to freshen my mindset
about what can be delivered via Access UI design, so I'm sure these
links will be helpful!
