Finding image dimensions in OLE Object field

Hello,

I have an ole object field (Access XP/2002) which I store images in. I have
a couple of questions regarding this; is it possible to determine the image
dimensions? Secondly, is there any way to determine what application is
associated with the stored OLE Object and is there a way to associate that
object programmatically with another application?

Thanks!

The answers are:
YES
http://www.lebans.com/autosizeole.htm
A97AutosizeOLE.zip is a database containing functionality to allow for the
auto sizing of bound or unbound OLE Frame controls. Here is the A2K version:
A2KAutosizeOLE.zip
YES
http://www.lebans.com/oletodisk.htm
NEW - Feb 06/2006 ExtractInventoryOLE.zip A2K or higher ONLY! This
version saves the entire contents of a table containing OLE Objects to disk.
Does NOT require the original application that served as the OLE server to
insert the object. Supports all MS Office documents, PDF, All images
inserted by MS Photo Editor, MS Paint, and Paint Shop Pro. Also supports
extraction of PACKAGE class including original Filename. Contains function
to produce a full Inventory of the OLE field including LINKED path and
Filenames. Uses Structured Storage API's to read the actual contents of the
field. Version BETA 1.56
NO
You cannot modify the existing association as the OLE Server App inserts the
Image using a private data format that nobody else but that app will
recognize. Your best bet is to use the solution I referred you to above and
export all your images and then reinsert them. This can all be done
programmatically.
