Now e-mailing no longer works with the new Access 2003 MDE installation

pw
Hi,

We upgraded our Access 97 application, that we distribute as an MDE,
to version Access 2003. Now for one client he is no longer able to
send e-mails (attach a report, ...). He is getting a "Javascript
Email2 Error" with our new release. Things used to work fine with the
A97 verstion and he is the only one out of our dozen or so upgrades so
far that is experiencing this error. Is there something we missed in
creating the install (or in converting it to A2003 - but I am sure he
isn't the only one using the e-mail option)?

He is using Outlook Express.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Sounds like an OE issue.

I keep telling my wife that we need the FMS e-mail program! One of
these days Alice - POW to the moon you go! <g>

We have other clients using OE with our Access 97 app. What could it
be?

Thanks!

That particular install of OE could have a problem is what I meant.

Maybe try logging in under a different user account on the PC and create a
new OE account on it and try that???

No can do. It's not us. It's a client in another state and that would
be something they couldn't handle or wouldn't do.

Thanks!
