The best way, especially for multiple criteria, is to make your own form
that will ask for the necessary information then open the query. For this to
work, the form must be open when you open the query. However, if you don't
want the form to show once the user has made their selections, you can hide
the form by setting its Visible property to False. In the query, you would
then refer to the controls on the forms for your criteria.
Example:
=[Forms]![frmMyCriteria]![txtMyTextbox]

Hi Folks
How do I use user inputs from dialog box as criteria in the query? I
need to run a query on multiple criteria, using message box is very
crude.
Please help.
