How to get rid of pop-up window when run query?

Hey, Guys,

I have a question when I created a query with date() in the criteria. I
want to generate a list of gifts sent in 10 days. The code I put in
criteria of query is

DateDiff("d",[Receive_date],[Date()]) <=10

And the problem is when I run the query, there is a pop-up window
asking for parameter of date(). It is really weird, it seems ACCESS
didn't recognize the Date function.
Can any one give me some idea?

Thanks a lot.

Hi Mindy,

Try removing the square brackets from the Date function. Access thinks
you are referring to a column in the query.

DateDiff("d",[Receive_date],Date())

should work...

BTW, this was a separate column (Expr1), and the criteria was <=10, as
I assume that Receive_date IS a separate column in your query...

Thank you very much. It works!
