Am trying to name a label control on a form. A97 won't let me?

MLH
Here's the name I want to use:
Authorizing_Entity_Label

Each time I attempt to change the
name, A97 changes my entry to
Authorizing Entity_Label

How can I prevent A97 from substituting
a space for the underscore? Why does
Access behave that way? I don't recall
any such behavior in Access 2.0 - maybe
I'm wrong about that, dunno.

Perhaps delete the label, compact the db, and try again?

Thx, Tom. That didn't do it. I'm constantly
compacting 'n reparing, so I didn't have
high hopes for it. Enough time spent on
such a trivial objective, I suppose. So I
just went with another label name.

I thought it might have been spell check
related. But it still behaved the same way
after running David Fenton's posted code
for disabling all of A97's spell checking
junk. I'll never know.
