record number

This may be a duplicate post, if so, I apologize

My need is simple; how do I deternime the record number of a record that I'm
using VBA to scroll through using a do - while loop and cmd.gotorecord ,,

In your loop, make a textbox value equal to the record number. Of
course this will only be feasible when the loop actualy breaks so that
you can see the value.

Look up the AbsolutePosition property in help. Also look at the code
examples for it.

There is a message thread "How to tell if you're on the last record"
dated March 9th in this newsgroup that provides some more advice.
