Report to PDF and Email it - Sorted

Hi,

I've read on this group and elsewhere about the need to send by email
attachment a report as a PDF file, well I think I've cracked it, using
only freeware and code. This is fully documented
(http://tinyurl.com/f3lxy).

I've tried my own instructions on a newly installed WinXP Pro machine
and it worked. That PC did not even have Adobe reader loaded!

If anyone is happy to test the instructions and give me any feedback if
you find errors I'll amend it.

Enjoy! Jon

That is a huge amount of effort, and you have to both install the pdf
creator, and setup a WHOLE bunch of software.

Why not use Stephan's example here

http://www.lebans.com/reporttopdf.htm

The above has none of your steps to install additional software..and can
create a pdf file WITHOUT having to install printer. To print to pdf...it is
just one line of code...and you do NOT have to switch printers etc.

you can thus create pdf reports native in ms-access using this approach. It
also means that installing this on client machine would be a snap...
