where is the SQL for a pivot table?

P: n/a
One can view the SQL statremtn fora qry, can one view the SQL for a
pivot table in Access?
Am I missing it somewhere?

Same as any other. Once you have the crosstab query built, you should
be able to enter design view, switch to SQL (usually button in upper
left), and review/edit your code.

Thats the problem..or I'm daft
I tried that but there is no option for SQL view in a pivot chart

I don't use pivot charts, but if it is anything like a form, you would
edit its datasource, then click SQL.

Clcik design view, open properties, click the data tab. click on the
.... to the right, the from the men u, choose SQL view.
