As you're using Outlook Express, simply select the post/thread you want and
hit the delete button.
It's important to realize that this action sends a cancel message out.
More so now than years ago, there are many news servers that do not
accept cancel messages anymore so some news users will still see your
message. If you get the cancel message out quickly enough, ie, before
your news server accepts and starts probogating your message about, you
may be able to prevent it from getting out period, though "quickly
enough" is usually in the area of minutes or even seconds depending on
how your news server is set.
