This isn't an answer to your specific question, because it's hard to know exactly
why your pages aren't communicating correctly. However, you can download my
sample, read the article and compare and/or copy the methods used there.
http://www.databasejournal.com/featu...le.php/3487741
The article includes a download that will create a working ASP page for any table
in your Access database. Simply put the MDB in a valid web folder, like ...
C:\InetPub\wwwRoot\YourAppHere\
Import the form from the free download into your mdb file and open the form.
It will prompt you to create an ASP page from any table it finds. When finished,
you can view the ASP code or launch the page.

I'm near to suicide - please help me.
I have an ASP page produced from a query in Access 2000 merged with an
hmtl template. I have a website with ODBC for Access running. I have my
asp page and database on the website - but when I run the asp page
nothing happens ! - how do I get the asp page to talk to the mdb?
All the query code is in the asp page.
Anything you can suggest would be great
TIA
John
