how to know the table Exist in the db using dao?



Using dao with vba, i want to know the specific table is not be.

for example,
db name = "dbTest"
table name = "tblTest"

Having an "avoid-my-own-work" day - wrote you the code:

Function tblFound(strTableName As String) As Boolean

Dim tblDef As DAO.TableDef
Dim db As DAO.Database
Set db = CurrentDb
tblFound = False

For Each tblDef In CurrentDb.TableDefs
If tblDef.Name = strTableName Then
tblFound = True
End If
