Printing a Report problem

I am printing a very basic report with a detail section from a query.
When the detail prints out everything is duplicated. For example, if
there should be two lines, there are four due to the duplicates. I
have checked the source data and there are no duplicates in it.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

You are probably linking to a related table that has multiple records for
each of the detail records you want to see. For example, if you link the
header record of a sales invoice to the details and there are 4 detail
records on the invoice, the header will get repeated 4 times, once for each
detail.

To get around this sort of thing add group header to the report and place
the invoice header fields in there and the detail records field in the
detail section. Or split the detail records off into a sub-report.
