If you want more control over how the dialog operates, so you can specify
the file types, the initial directory, the title of the dialog etc, you need
to call the Windows File Open dialog instead.

Call Windows File Open/Save Dialog box

Hello,
I have a button on a form that brings up the dialog box you get when
using Access's menu to do Insert/Object:
RunCommand acCmdInsertObject
I'd like to over-ride some default settings on that dialog, such as
pre-selecting "Microsoft Word document" instead of the first one.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks for your time
