Sub-groups in a field

I'm new to databases and I'm trying to learn by making a simple
database to keep track of my CD collection. I have a table for Bands
and a table for Albums. In a Favorites table, I would like to select
from a list of bands (this is working fine) and then see a list of
albums by the selected bands. My problem is that I don't know how to
restrict this list to display only albums by the selected band. Can
anyone help me do this?

I'll assume you have a key like BandID, autonumber, in the Bands table.
You also have BandID to link to in the Albums table.

Create a form with the band data.

Create a form with the album data.

Open BandForm in design mode. Find the Subform tool in the toolbox.
Drop that tool onto the BandForm, select AlbumForm, and set the link to
BandID.
