Problem with DateDiff

P: n/a
I have 2 date fields on a form called FirstDate and SecondDate. The gap
between these 2 dates should always be more than a week.

I have set a validation rule, through the properties screen, on the
FirstDate field so that when this first date is entered it compares to the
second date

=DateDiff("ww",[FirstDate],[SecondDate])>1

No matter what first date I type in it is rejected. Why?

Any help would be genuinely appreciated

Geoff

Geoff, you can't set a validation rule in a field that refers to any other
fields. But you can do this at the table level. In table design view, right
click on the table and choose 'properties' and you will get table
properties. You can enter your validation rule there (without the '=')
