make .mde with A2k2 runtime

Hello everybody

Does anyone know if it is possible to make .mde with the runtime
version of Access XP, and if so, how?

Thank you!

Your best bet is to cough up the cash and get a working production
version. Runtimes are usually created for people that don't have a full
version of Access on their machine. If MS did what you want, many
people would design the apps in runtime and never pay money to MS for
the program.

Do you expect Viewers, like Word Viewer, to be a full blown version of
Word where you can modify data?

The runtime does not provide you with design view or features thereof;
making an .MDE file is a feature of design view. Therefore, you cannot
create an MDE from the runtime.
