Tab Control Sub-report with Different Sized Pages

P: n/a
Hi,

I have a report that includes some common data followed by a subreport
which is made up of a tab control with 3 pages of different lengths,
each displaying different information depending on a code in the input
record. Ideally I would like each to be printed to its correct length.

However, each one prints to the length of the longest page which leaves
an ugly gap in the report.

In the main report I've set the detail and the sub-report controls to
grow or shrink. In the Sub-report I've set the detail to grow or
shrink.

Is there something that I've missed or will the tab control always
print at maximum length?

Any help would be very welcome. Thanks.

_Tab Control_ in a report? That seems a strange combination to me -- Tab
Controls allow the user to click on a Tab to select the Tab Page that is to
be displayed. Access reports don't allow user interaction, so that can't be
the purpose.

I'd suggest you design your Report as a Report, not as though it were a
Form, and avoid the problem.
