filter field for report - access97

I want to create a report that shows the percent of safety audits
complete by each individual shift, based on the safety audit date.
The user has to put in the dates they want the report to pull up. This
is done in a parameter value box.
Is there a way for the user to put in which shift to pull up, based off
a field that is a list box?

Heather:

On the Criteria line for the shift field you can specify the list box value
to filter the records for only that shift. For example:

Forms!MyFormName!MyListboxName

This assumes that the list box is a single selection list box (as opposed to
a multi-select list box) and that the form with the list box is open at the
time the report is run. The user can then select the shift in the list box,
enter the dates in the parameter value box(es) , and the report query will
read the value of the list box.

Here is an additional reference regarding using form controls as parameters
for queries.
