Remotely set a db password?

P: n/a
Hello,

Is it possible to remotely set a database password, provided that there are
no other users and it can be opened exclusively? I'd like to do this in
code. Ideally, when I deploy back end dbs with passwords on them, I'd like
to be able to change that password through various version updates as well.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

ID don't know what you mean by remotley in this case, but setting the
database password is a simple call to the NewPassword method of the
Database object.

Thanks. By remotely I simply mean a database that you are not currently in
or a db that is not the codeDb.
