Difficult Query ?!

Dear All,

I fighting for a query which solves the following problem:

Basic table data (just a tine example, the real thing is quite more
complex)

DocName PageCount
A 10
X 5
B 7
Z 2
G 6

I need the folowing output ( max pages in binder asumed as 15):
First of all I need to sort the output by DocName. If the sum of pages
exceeds a certain limit I ned to increment an index (Binder). This
index is used later on to split the data in different section on a
report.

DocName Binder PageCount (optional, IntermediateCount)
A 1 10 10
B 2 7 7
G 2 6 13
X 3 5 5
Z 3 2 7

How can I achive this in ms acccess 2000 ???

As an alternative I tried to calculate this in the report by VB . But I
could not succeed to restart a detail section on the fact that the page
number exceeds the limit. I tried to use RaiseEvent Retreat somehow,
but could not get this to work.

Is the basic idea right or what could be a better way ?

Any idea is highly welcome
Rolf
