subform recordsearch don't work

I have a form, this form has two subforms,
I want to essentially copy information from subform 1
and put it in subform 2 but I cannot unravel this puzzle.
from subform 1 I cannot search records in subform 2, why?
my database is used for shipping and recieving, I want to check boxes
from the recieving list and then move those to my "warehouse" list, but
I cannot get past the first record in the other list, nothing i do will
let me cycle through records in the other list.
I know there are at least 3 1/2 people dumber than me so the rest of
you should know how to help me.

thanks in advance
