Data being lost?

I have created a FrontDesk program for clerical to record clients
coming in to bring information.

They said this morning that a number of clients data was lost that had
been keyed yesterday.

Are there any issues with programs losing data? Or do you need to do
anything special to make sure data is saved?

I specifically looked up the data in tables different ways and it is
not there.

When I watched them key data this morning it took everything.

It is on a shared drive and I did go in and make some design changes
yesterday, but the program was shut down everywhere but on the computer
I was using.

Any ideas? Suggestions?
