DAO Rs Update with SQL ODBC linked table

hi
i have a standard SQL statement that works fine with MDB and DAO.

Now i've put my tables on SQL server to use them via ODBC.

The same SQL let me update some fields but doesn't let me to update
certain fields. I can assing values to fields but when i perform the
Update method some fields are rightly updated, but someone NOT.
The SQL Joins 2 different table each of them with primary key and
TimeStamp field. No errors are raised.
The SQL is something like:

SELECT Arrivi.*, RigheOrdini.PrezzoUnitario, RigheOrdini.Sconto,
RigheOrdini.Sconto2, RigheOrdini.Sconto3, RigheOrdini.TotaleRiga,
RigheOrdini.Quantità, RigheOrdini.UmFattconv,
RigheOrdini.CopiaPrezzo,RigheOrdini.CopiaSc1,Righe Ordini.CopiaSc2,RigheOrdini.CopiaSc3,RigheOrdini.P rezzoDaDefinire,RigheOrdini.CopiaDaDefinire"
_
& " FROM Arrivi INNER JOIN RigheOrdini ON (Arrivi.IDRigaOrdine =
RigheOrdini.IDRigaOrdine) AND (Arrivi.IDOrdineAcquisto =
RigheOrdini.IDOrdineAcquisto)" _
& " WHERE (((Arrivi.contatore)=" &
rsFat!IdArrivoMerce & "));

The fields named "PrezzoUnitario" and "TotaleRiga" can't be updated.

A common cause of SQL server tables not being updateable is that they are
defined without a Primary Key. Lack of time/datestamp can also be a problem.
Check these first. If that does not fix the problem, post a followup here --
although we have nearly exhausted _my_ debug knowledge, others may be able
to pick up the thread and assist.

MDB is a pain; you should use Access Data Projects. it works reliably
and consistently.

MDB just craps out when you start doing difficult stuff.

I really really reccomend throwing away MDB and using ADP.
