Ever experienced loss of ability to 'grab' the slide control at the bottom of your A97 database window?

MLH
I've lost ability to drag the slider bar at bottom of database window
in A97 on many occasions. Have no clue as to the origin of this.
Do know that its darned inconvenient. Comments appreciated.

I started seeing that with fair regularity since moving to WinXP. If you press
the Tab key a few times it usually snaps out of it.

More common for me is not being able to scroll in the query designer.

I'll give that TAB key a few slaps the next time it happens.

Unfortunately, the TAB hammering did not fix my problem.
When it happens, I can 'grab' the slider bar if I position my
mouse pointer to the FAR left end of the slider bar - say in
the first 1/8" of the bar. If the bar is say, 6" long, I can't
grab any other part of it. I can't even 'page' it from side-to-
side by clicking in the 'slot' in which it 'slides' (over to the
right). I discovered I can fix the anomoly (at least temporarily)
by RESIZING the database window. Somehow, that reactivates
the WHOLE bar for me. Thank goodness I discovered that.
I was having to shut down Access and restart before. That's
a relief.
