Qry Deleted after running macro.

I have a button setup to run a macro that does a OutputTo command on a
query to Excel 97-2003. The macro runs fine, but after it is done for
some reason the SQL code in the query is deleted and it only does it
some of the time. I'm not quiet sure what is causing it because if I
recreate the query it didn't happen again. Then I thought it was okay
but on Friday it happened again on another macro while I was trying to
show the Access file to the user. So is this a known bug or am I doing
something wrong?

The query was still there after sql code was cleared out.
Has anyone else come across this problem?

Hi,
I've came across the same problem. It raised after I linked a Query to
a Form.

When trying to run the form, it didn't appeared. I just got a msg
saying that a Qry cannot be empty -It was deleted-

I don't know if it can be solved by running Access patches - My company
uses a centralized installation platform, I can't update patches on my
own. Upgrades comes with the next Image installation disk for the
company-

What I'm doing now, after updating a form, is close MSAccess and then
reopen it. I've noticed that this problem stops.
I'm also keeping in MSWord all my queries, in case Access deletes them.

Again, it might be solved by running the patches from MS downloads
page.

Regards,
LC
