How to copy a value from one form to another by button?

For my database I do have two forms, accessing by a button from a menu:
Customers
Contacts

I do want to put a button on the contacts form that copies a
phonenumber from the "Phonenumber" field from my Customers Form and
filled it in the "Phonenumber" field of the Contacts Form. How to
perform it?

I have basic knowledge of Access functionality and VB.

Air Code.

Assuming that each form has a Form Class Module (some code) you could
set the Button's OnClick Event Sub to
Form_Contacts.PhoneNumber.Value = PhoneNumber.Value

The dot Value thingmes may be unnecessary. And in some peculiar
circumstances, PhoneNumber.Text might be required.

That explanation is beyond my knowledge.

I want to have a value from one field copied to another field by a
button command.
If the phone nr from the contact is the same as the company nr, then I
want to have the company nr put in the contaact phone nr field.

From:
frmClients: Control Scourse = PhoneNumber (company)
Copied to field:
frmContacts: Control Scourse = Work Phone (contact employee)

Thank you for yuor help.
