Use other value from table

Hi I want a user to select a name (from a table) from a dropdown box
but then use the corresponding email address for that person also
stored in the users table in a colmn called email and store in a
variable.
I'm using a drop down box which gets its values from a table called
users. Using SELECT [Users].[Name] FROM Users;

I have got my form to email people when i click a button and fill out
text boxes but i want the user to only see peoples names and not email
addresses.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance.

One possibilty would be to look up the e-mail address using the DLOOKUP
function, but you could also have the combobox select 2 columns UsrName and
UsrEmail, just make the column widths, say, 1 and 0 which has the effect of
making the second column invisible. You can refer to it by
cboUser.Columns(1).
PS I would never use reserved words for field names such as 'name' and
'date' - just change slightly to, say UsrName.
