OLAP Problems in Windows Environment

I am trying to access an Microsoft SQL Server OLAP Server Cube, through
Crystal Reports 9, using OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services, from a
Client Computer. But in the populated list of OLE DB Providers the
entry "OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services" is missing. I am using
Windows XP Professional. When i checked the files MSOLAP.dll and
MSOLAP80.dll at location "C:\Program Files\Common Files\SYSTEM\ole db",
these files were missing. I have reinstalled Windows XP from two
different CDs but these files didn't come in the said location whereas
these files do exist in other computers havind Windows XP. Please help
me on how i could solve this problem and use OLE DB Provider for OLAP
Services in Crystal Reports.

I don't believe the Analysis Service (AS) comes w/ Windows XP, only w/
MS SQL Server and Office XP. You may have to do a custom re-install of
Office XP & check the data provider for OLAP services.

Some possible solutions (randomly accessed at MS KB):

Thx. Aren't the files MSOLAP.dll and MSOLAP80.dll not part of operating
system files? Don't they come with Windows 98, XP or 2000 Server.
Another important mattter is that even when I have these files at their
proper location, The entry "OLE DB provider for OLAP Services" is still
missing from the providers list while using Database Connection Dialog
in Crystal Reports 9.
But this entry does exist in the providers list while using Visual
Basic 6.0. Confused...
