Database Permission Question

Hello,

I wanted to know how to give certian permissions to a database. I will
tell you what I want to do. We have one database that has all the
students and teachers in there and we want the teachers to be able to
only see and grade there own students. I was thinking about setting up
a ASP page where the teachers can add and delete records for there own
students, but wanted to know how we can set teachers permissions to
there own students only.

ANy help would be grateful

Give them no permissions to the tables, write queries that select only
their students (Run permissions: Owner's) and give them permissions to
run the queries.
